Veterinary Biological Products Control Division, engaged in quality control of veterinary biological products authorized at national level, a section in itself was organized as four separate laboratory.
- Veterinary Biological Products Control Laboratory of Bacterial
- Veterinary Biological Products Control Laboratory of Viral
- Poultry Veterinary Biological Products Control Laboratory
- Test Unit of Experimental Animal
The duties and responsibilities of the Department of Veterinary Biological Products Control;
-Quality control tests of Public and private sector veterinary biological products produced by all domestic and imported,
-Review license applications and files, prepare reports for the domestic production of veterinary biological products, and participate in relevant committees of the Ministry,
-Review license applications and files, prepare reports for imported veterinary biological products, and participate in relevant committees of the Ministry,
-Review and give a report of establishment, construction, operation permits and
changes in projects for production facility of veterinary biological products, and participate in the required inspections,
-Control of cold stores where Veterinary biological products stored,
-Participate in activities of control of veterinary biological products related laws, regulations, notification and so on.
-Carry out its activities for compliance with the European Union in the field of veterinary biological products, to conduct studies and tests conducted to ensure the unity of the method are directed at the process of mutual adaptation,
-Carry out activities of education, field monitoring programs, supervision and so on in order to raise the standard of quality of all veterinary biological products produced and used in the country,
-Plan and carry out research related to Veterinary Biological Products Control; issues.
